We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original George Smith three seat sofa with the period Kilim upholstery and feather filled cushions A stunning sofa which is one of George Smiths bestselling lines. The sofa comes with overstuffed feather filled cushions, it has nicely turned beech wood legs which has been finished with new brass castors, the originals had bent due to the weight of the sofa, these are hand made in England and much stronger The upholstery is in good used used condition throughout, it has some light desirable fading which gives it the right English country home look and feel, there may be the odd little mark here and there but hard to see given the Kilim, the woodwork has been cleaned waxed and polished Dimensions Height 90cm Width 185cm Depth 105cm Seat height 56cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
