Measures approximately 12"h x 4.5"w. It is marked "Eastern Spring" the name of the design and has a vintage peacock sticker stating "Expressly for Bamberger's". Beautiful condition for a vintage piece.

Bamberger's was a department store chain with locations primarily in New Jersey, also with locations in the states of Delaware, Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania. The Bamberger’s retail chain was born in Newark in 1893. In June 1929 Bamberger's was purchased by R.H. Macy Co, but the name remained Bamberger's. In 1986, all Bamberger's stores were renamed Macy's.
The Bamberger's unit was considered more upscale at one point than Macy's, which was seen as more of a discounter. Certain luxury brands, such as Estee Lauder and Rolex, would sell with Bamberger's, but not Macy's. less
