Drum base has brass finish wrapped around circular drums. Small gap at brass seam where center drum meets edge drums. Partial lifting at one top edge, see close ups for reference. Where brass meets wood header, some adhesive residue is visible. Some surface scratches at tabletop, but they mix nicely into the Burl design. Not too noticeable at all. Showstopper of a Table! This Burl rules our world right now!! These bookmatching details at the tabletop are fantastic. There’s some gnarly veining in the Burl that is definitely some eye candy.
An absolutely incredible Maple Root Burl with geometric inlay at tabletop. All maple double bull-nose edge inlaid with brass strip.
The base is three large drums in a brass finish. Base has a wood header. See photos for interior construction of base.
This would be such a beautiful addition to any modern interior. But mostly, this would be most perfect with its matching Sideboard/Credenza and chairs.
