This settee, made in … more This is a mid century Italian Neoclassical style wood settee, hand painted cream with gold highlights. This settee, made in the 1950s, has an elaborately carved back. The flat top rail is adorned at underside in a linked-chain motif, three x-shaped back-splats with arrowed corners, and a single flower head carved into each center. The curved arms end in scrolled knuckles. The oval-shaped seat has been upholstered in a neoclassical design cream cotton. This settee has four fluted and squared legs with rosettes carved at the knees, that gently taper towards their feet. This Neoclassical style oval settee, will make a lovely seating addition for your entryway, foyer, living room, or bedroom. less
