Please note -- the glass shade does have a hairline crack that has been glued. To remove the shade first unscrew the tiny screw at the base of the shade, that will loosen the bracket holding the chrome neck the shade sits on. Once the neck can move freely, you will want to tilt the shade on an angle to safely go around the metal arms beneath the bulb. Chrome shows little wear, such as light scratches. Few small flecks of paint splatter can be seen.
