- 1820's Antique French Copper Lavabo with brass accents. The rare and unique item is mounted on a board in two … more 1820's Antique French Copper Lavabo with brass accents. The rare and unique item is mounted on a board in two pieces. The top is reservoir measures 8 wide 14 tall and 3.5 deep and the lower demi-lune shaped basin measures 12 wide 8 deep and 3 tall. Back in time these were used for ceremonial washing, later they were converted and used for hand washing. Uses today could include as a kitchen decor item or filled with flowers. The piece is in good shape for its age with a few blemishes. The handle for the water spout is missing. less
