Description: This lovely mosaic tile mural is called 'HORNS' and shows multiple percussion horns aligned together and was created from colorful … more This lovely mosaic tile mural is called 'HORNS' and shows multiple percussion horns aligned together and was created from colorful tile pieces of all shapes and sizes.

This mural can either be leaned against the wall vertically or hung horizontally. The artist used colorful, speckled mosaic pieces to express the vibrancy.

From our understanding, this piece was created for an auction held in the Tampa Bay, FL area in the mid 70's (?) with winning bid found therein. This original owner has since passed away; however, his personal style was very much Mid Century Modern.

The mural was mounted on a plywood base and the original creator's name was 'GABODA'. We have attempted to trace the original artist through extensive online searches but without success.

The overall piece measures 50" x 23" while the actual mosaic measures 48" x 21". The brass border encases the mosaic piece. The piece is also quite heavy (> 40 lbs)

Since this is deemed vintage, the wood and brass border has some wear and tear yet the mosaic has remained in pristine condition. less
