They include Hyacinthus XIII, Hyacinthus XVI, and Hyacinthus XX. I purchased these years ago in an antique store that I cannot remember where...probably in New Jersey as there was a cut-out article taped to the back of the frame and a label from Christie's. I have the paper and the label and will include. The frames were a very fine thin gold gesso but were in terrible condition and the glass was broken on two of them as well. Also written on the back of each frame was the position each were to be hung on a very large wall. One of the prints - see photos - is only attached to the original mat at the top. Unfortunately the framer used inferior paper on the matting and you can see the foxing damage done where the mat has rested all of these years. On the other two prints the mat is actually glued to the paper and cannot be lifted as in the one photo. To try to remove the original mat would destroy the print - so, you really have to keep the original mats which are visually quite lovely. Georg Dionysius Ehret was the original executor of the images - the one you can see above has his name. Two of the dates are readable, one is dated 1774 and another 1782. I cannot make out the third without causing damage. These are very rare and valuable and would normally go for over 4,000 each - since the mats are an issue I am selling them at much below that value. They are very beautiful and would look lovely anywhere. less
