He worked with a palette knife in his painted works and also was a print maker and produced lithographs. This piece is fresh to the marketplace. It was originally purchased from the Edgardo Acosta Gallery in Beverly Hills, California. It is from a known Texas estate. The piece is in it's original frame. The frame is excellent. I removed the piece from the frame to check condition. It is in excellent condition without problems. This 1965 lithograph was printed on Arches paper, printed by Mourlot and is 5 in 270 copies. The lithograph is 54 by 76 cm. Illustration is 41 by 61 cm. Image is 24" wide by 17" tall. Frame is 26.5" by 33" by 1.5" deep. In addition, it has been re-framed with acid-free matt and museum glass. The original gallery label mounted on the original cardboard is in a pocket on the back. The artist traveled extensively through out the world. The artwork of his visits to Latin America show a similar color palette of warm colors, sometimes there is a change to a hotter pink and red. less
