This most unusual vintage marble top/solid oak pedestal cocktail/tea table will definitely add a conversation piece to your decor. There are two available as of this listing.
The "desert sand" looking marble 17 5/8" square top is mounted on an antique solid oak clawfoot leg that came off an antique piano in Oklahoma that was destroyed by a tornado in the 1960's.
The table is 17 1/2" high. The leg is mounted to a solid oak scalloped edge base which makes the table very sturdy. The table weighs approximately 40 lbs. There are tiny chips at some of the corners of the marble. The tiny chipped areas are barely visible and do not mar the beauty of the surface of table. There are no cracks, scratches or damage to the surface of the marble top or the oak leg and base. The small chipped areas should be able to be easily buffed out. The chipped edge picture shown indicates the largest of all of the chipped corners.
This unique table was gently used in a lovely southern home for over 60 years. There were no pets or smoking, so the beauty of the marble and oak shines through. less
