These paintings are a response to the stillness all around us that we sometimes forget to notice. In a world where we are constantly rushed and running from one thing to the next, this is a time to rest. Watching and looking and paying attention to the world around us – a beach walk, the elegance of a storm or the solace of being alone. I am interested in layering the paint and creating depth, to visualize the energies around us.
