Superb Old Lobi Figural Slingshot Burkina Faso
This slingshot reflect the artistry, power, and authority of the Lobi artist, as it was he who also carved the well-known wooden sculptures used by the peoples. On this example the handle is a seated female figure 8" 1/2 by 3" 1/2 by 1" D it shows minor old cracks due to time and use ,nice patina pls check pictures for the condition ..... Slingshots like this one were used on rodents and birds, providing food.Thanks
