Late 20th c. industrial counterweight pulley desk/table lamp in solid brass (lamp weighs 14.8lbs) with an antiqued silver finish. Over time the finish will acquire a patina and will age to a pewter color. If a patina is not desired, the lamp can be easily polished to retain a shiny finish. This lamp can be raised or lowered with a touch. The brass counterweight is a traditional acorn shape. While listed as a desk lamp, it would also be prefect on an occasional, end or bedside table.
