Framed 1927 - 30's framed pair of Japanese woodblock prints of an encounter between a black mare and white stallion on a light gray ground by Sonan Noda. Matted in a gold gilt wood frame, both the print and frame are in excellent condition. Ready to hang.
About the Artist:
Sonan Noda was a Kyoto artist who specialized in stylized images of horses. Not much is known about the artist except that he was active in the late 1920's through mid 20th century.
