Beautifully detailed antique Japanese Kutani tea set 18 piece lot featuring colorful designs of geishas, pagodas, lanterns, cherry blossoms, parasols, mums, and other typical design motifs. The set includes a tea pot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, creamer, 5 cups and saucers, 2 small cake plates and 1 extra saucer for 18 pieces total.
Crafted from very fine eggshell porcelain with hand-painted highlights detailing the set. There are slight pattern variants to the set which makes it so unique. Some pieces are marked, others are not - markings include “Nippon”, “Japan”, “Made in Japan”, and Kanji markings.

Wear is consistent with what you would expect to find in well-cared-for pieces. No large cracks or repairs. Only a few small fleabites on the rim of some teacups.
