Description: This attractive silver-plated medium-sized oval dish with a deeply scalloped border is just right for a wide variety of uses...as … more This attractive silver-plated medium-sized oval dish with a deeply scalloped border is just right for a wide variety of uses...as a relish dish, fruit bowl, bread 'basket', candy or nut dish, as an entry way 'catchall' or vanity tray. .. just to name a few.

It is stamped on the bottom with 'Cheshire Silver Plate', as well as the numbers '81' (most likely referring to the maker's style or stock number). Although the history of the Cheshire silver mark has not been identified, the dish very likely dates to the 1970's, or possibly early 1980's, and is most likely of US origin.

The size is 12 in length x 7 in width x 1.5 in height or depth. The flat bottom interior area measures 6 in x 3.5 in.

The gleaming high-polish finish dish is in overall excellent condition, looks brand new and as if it may never have been used.
