Designed in 1950 by Marie Lalique - the "Mahe Claire" vase features a dramatically angled form. However the frosted palm leaf and tropical flowers covering it's entire surface is what makes this piece a tour de force.
Circa 1990's it comes with its original box encased in a protective white cardboard outer sleeve. Includes related Lalique paperwork. A Lalique label is affixed under the center of the front just below the top rim edge. Etched signature on the bottom.
Founded a century ago in Alsace France - Lalique artisans produce unique crystal objects d'art moulded from molten glass. Which are hand finished with up to 40 proprietary steps prior to completion.
Measures 8" wide x 5" deep x 6" tall.
In immaculate - "mint" - like new condition. With no chips, cracks, clouding. etching, or scratches of note. The box is in very good vintage condition with no tears, scratches, wear, or other issues. Outer box sleeve is again in very good vintage condition. See photos for details.
