After a lot of research we know this beautiful Spanish Galleon dates back to the turn of the 20th century. It was made in the USA, and is hand painted in very fine detail. It was possibly produced as a Columbus commemorative item as it closely resembles the Santa Maria dates around the 500th anniversary of his landing.
The original paint has a bit of age appropriate wear. There are no markings as early cast iron pieces only came with small labels that typically fell right off on the bottom of each piece. less
