A very nice circular brass chamberstick from the first quarter of the 19th century, it features a working candle ejector and retains an early and likely original pair of wick trimmers. The three-quarters open finger ring is riveted to the dish with copper pins and the candlestick is affixed through the base with a pin riveted over a brass nut over a broad iron washer. A wonderful warm surface patina throughout.
