Description: Antique French Bronze statue of a young boy feeding a small bird. This finely finished French Bronze of a boy … more Antique French Bronze statue of a young boy feeding a small bird. This finely finished French Bronze of a boy is after similar models by French Sculptor Jean-Baptiste Pigalle (1714-1785), this is probably a later casting from the late 19th century. The model features a charming and well finished young child feeding a small dove or pigeon. Interestingly the base reveals how the sculpture was cast with iron wiring. The bronze is surprisingly not signed anywhere on the figure.

The bronze measures 8 Inches (20.5 cm) tall and 6 1/4 Inches (15.9 cm) wide less
