Attributed to Lyman Fenton & Company, Bennington, Vermont, 1849-1858. The full-bodied figure of a standing poodle with applied coleslaw mane and ears.
Each carrying a basket containing grapes and apples, the rim applied with "moss". Measure 8.5" tall x 9.5" long x 4" deep.

Good condition - one with missing toes on the rear foot as part of the original production - glazed over completely. As made in 1850. This pair displays beautifully.
