Rare Late 19th century circa 1890 brass spirit kettle on its original stand with its original burner. this piece is in the arts and crafts style and produced by one of the top names of the period. Townshends Ltd (T & Co) name used from c1890, then Townshend Art Metal Co., Earnest St, Holloway Head, Birmingham, quality brass foundry and copper and brass art metal-ware such as holloware and tableware for up-market retailers.
This piece is in good condition with expected wear commensurate to age, it is complete and very decorative, it stands at approx 12.5 inches tall.
