This painting is done on canvas in the MDDERN CONTEMPORARY STYLE and is painted in acrylic paint. It measures 48" high by 48" wide by 1.5' deep. Painted in black and white & ocher coloring.
The artist is DON BRADY of DON BRADY DESIGN who has a fine arts degree in painting and drawing from the University of Utah AND has been selling his art for 55 years in Utah since 1969 and neighboring states. Most of the paintings in CHAIRISH site ARTANDLOTSOFIT are painted by DON BRADY.
DON BRADY was in the first PART CITY KIMBALL ARTS FESTIVAL, sponsored by Park City Kimball Arts Center in the summer of 1969. At that time the artists just picked out an empty building on Main street and nailed/hung their art work all around the building...now all buildings are on the National Historical Registry and can not be touched/changed in any way.
All Don Brady paintings were large canvas paintings and the largest painting which was 96" W by 72" H sold to the Hogle Zoo family which was the highest dollar amount sale at the 1969 art festival for $390....other artists where surprised that a painting would sell for that much money. Don Brady sold the largest total number of paintings for this first PARK CITY ARTS FESTIVAL. The festival is a big deal now with artist from all over the world and is attended by 50,000 people every August. less
