Designed by David Cressey in 1963 as part of the Pro/Artisan stoneware collection for Architectural Pottery, the slip cast Phoenix planter has a bowl shape with an allover geometric relief. This example has a creamy white glaze, emphasizing the dynamic quality of the surface motif.
