After many years of use, graffiti and mural walls accumulate thick layers of paint. We use reclaimed/recycled graffiti paint buildup (harvested in thick, solid slabs from public areas painted by muralists and street artists) to make jewelry (and items for the home). It is a sustainable material, and the paint we use is diverted from the waste stream.
Reminiscent of Fordite, or Detroit agate, this living street art is preserved under high gloss resin. less
