"josh owen's knock-off lamp which is the actual size of a standard bowling pin, uses the americana pop icon to suggest its utility to both children and adults. Josh owen is the principal of philadelphia-based owenlogikdesign and an assistant professor of industrial design at philadelphia university. Owen's work has been called "reactive" which is certainly true of his "tone knob" lamp. Owen's projects have been featured in exhibitions in new york city, philadelphia, paris, verona (\.) and the denver museum of art.
