The softcover art book with laminated covers is published in 1988 by Thames & Hudson and Waddington Graphics. It features a monograph survey of the etchings and lithographs of the British Pop Art artist David Hockney, with compelling accompanied text by author Marco Livingstone.
David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to The Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The 1st edition collector's Pop Art book measures 8 3/4" W X 11" H X 1/2" D, with 126 pages. It is printed on premium paper stock, featuring 98 offset lithograph print illustrations, including 54 in full color.
