The rare antiquarian botanical pattern book, La Plante et Ses Applications Ornementales with Art Nouveau Aesthetic Movement illustrations by nine … more The rare antiquarian botanical pattern book, La Plante et Ses Applications Ornementales with Art Nouveau Aesthetic Movement illustrations by nine artists was originally published in 1896 under the direction of Eugène Grasset. This is an art lithograph print of one of the original floral plates, titled "Perwinkle". The artist is Marcelle Gaudin. Primary colors are blue, yellow, tan, red and green.

The piece is in very nice vintage, near perfect, condition with just a small trace of light toning around the edges. And because this was originally bound in a portfolio, the left-hand binding side may have some very slight irregularities. We make mention only for accuracy's sake, as framing will likely cover any signs of age that may be present. Please review photos.

Entire sheet measures 11" wide x slightly less than 15" tall. Side edge borders outside double black lines are 1" each long side, 0.5" at top edge, and 1.25" at bottom edge including the titling in English, French and German.
