This important clock has a circular enamelled dial bearing the signatures: "Josse - St Nazaire".
Under the dial, a gilded bronze sculpture, representing flowers and foliage, forms a stylized arcade in the lower part.
The clock rests on four Art Deco gilded bronze feet.
Two bowls stratified with sea green and yellow marble complete the set. They have an elegant shaft and four small bronze feet.
The combination of marble and bronze, its shape and ornamentation make this mantel set a unique work of art, true to the innovative design of the early 20th century.
