This stunning oval coffee table was made by an apprentice of the artist Benjamin Le at his studio in California in the 1990s.
Very functional with a shelf for storage and an oval design (or rectangle with rounded ends) to help break up angles of the surrounding furniture and create an easy flow around your living space. The colorful top is intricately cut and inlaid hand-dyed wood in a raspberry red, terracotta red, lime green, sunshine yellow and golden orange with black accents.
One-of-a-kind and signed “MR” by the artist on the top of the table. The shelf, base, and legs are black lacquer and the top is an intricate wood inlay where each piece was hand cut and hand-dyed, then inlaid together like a puzzle, and covered in a high gloss. This high gloss coating on the top makes this piece extremely durable and resistant to spills and grime.
Made in the 1990s and still on excellent condition.
