Vintage 1949 Texaco boat cruising map in vivid colors. Would be great framed for the yachtsperson in your family! Shows the entire coastline from Eastport, Maine to Block Island, Rhode Island in nautical miles with marked lighthouses, buoys and, of course, Texaco stations, all in amazing color. The reverse side contains information of interest to the boater, such as high water tides, distance tables, detail on Boston Harbor and the Cape Cod Canal, Vineyard and Nantucket Sounds, etc. This is Map # 1 of a series of cruising maps published by Texaco that provide maritime information from the eastern most town in the US down the Atlantic coast to Florida. The map itself is copyrighted by Rand McNally and Co., and printed in the USA.
