The twin lamps, with the same size and shape, are in cased white opaline matte Murano glass with multicolored stripes. The structures are in brass.

About the cased glass:
In Venice, the blown in the initial stage is immersed in a crucible of a different color (in this case the same white) and then dilated, thus making the glass thinner.
This technique is still used today to opacify a transparent colored glass with an opaque white glass inside.
