Description: Charming little directoire period chest of drawers in solid walnut, with a wooden top with a mitered frame. It opens … more Charming little directoire period chest of drawers in solid walnut, with a wooden top with a mitered frame. It opens with a narrow drawer in the waist, using a notch below. Three drawers of the same height complete the storage offer, which open with bronze knobs: they have an entrance, also in bronze, as well as a working lock, accompanied by a fitted key. Note that the fittings are later than the furniture. On each side, the uprights are dressed with wooden pilasters, which embellish the front of this piece of furniture.
Sleek and sober, this small chest of drawers will fit in any kind of decoration: the beautiful shades of walnut will fit in the most modern interiors.
