They showcase varied patterns of decorative paintings to be used in room interiors. Such chromolithographs are extremely rare today; they are frequently copied or digitized images. These 3 plates are original to 1895! And they are large, measuring 14 x 20.5 inches in total size, 11 x 16.5 inches including text, and 10 x 15 inclusive to image only. Please note that the image designs are pristine with no foxing or markings; the outside edges do show some light age discoloring. The images are described as "Tentures (textures)Louis XIII", "Decorations Pour Salles (rooms) de Restaurant" and "Bordures de Fantasie" (Fantasy designs). We purchased them in Paris.
