The top is … more This beautiful glass dish was designed by Northwood company in their highly coveted iridescent Marigold Rosette style. The top is formed into folds to give it a unique look. The body has a smooth interior with the design on the outside that adds to its beauty.
This bright piece would be wonderful on any table. It dates circa 1900s and is in excellent condition. It is identified by the Northwood marking of an underlined capital N within a circle. Harry Northwood’s company was one of the most successful glass manufacturing houses in the United States from the early 1880s through to 1925 when the Wheeling plant was forced to close. Many of the patterns that emerged from Northwood’s glass works at Wheeling have become iconic, with the Rosette being one of the hardest to find. less
