With an elaborate design and pastel colors, this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak rug beautifully embodies European Cottage style. It features a stunning visual array of filigree scrollwork, delicate vines, and curved sickle leaves throughout the abrashed field. A large-scale trefoil medallion graces each corner spandrel. It is enclosed with a millefleur border imbricating the field flanked with an inner cross meander band and outer floral meander guard border. Rendered in variegated shades of taupe, almond, beige, sand, mauve, yellow, saffron, navy blue, cerulean, robin's egg, lavender-cornflower blue, brown, and chocolate. Abrash. Hand knotted wool.
