Resplendent with traditional Turkish elements of design, this antique Oushak carpet handsomely communicates some of the finer points of classical Turkish rug design. The antique Oushak rug features a geometric pattern composed of palmettes, serrated leaves, amulet medallions and rectilinear vines. It is enclosed with a classic border flanked by inner and outer guard bands and guard borders. The beautifully botanical field incorporates a tonal array of terra cotta, burnt orange, pumpkin, ocher, saffron, mustard, apricot, peach, olive, sage, beige, ecru and sand with other accent colors.
