Description: Forged at the legendary Fiske Iron Works of New York, this pair of cast iron hooks with original zinc plating … more Forged at the legendary Fiske Iron Works of New York, this pair of cast iron hooks with original zinc plating were rescued from a tac room of an old early 20th century Gold Coast estate on the north shore of Long Island NY. It was once a waterfront summer residence, on Eaton's Neck.
They are heavy, and solid, showing nice wear on the surfaces.
They could function again as hooks, or brackets for a one of a kind shelf, or whatever you may think of. They are prominently signed, and are a beautiful example of old American workmanship in iron. less
