Purchased in early 1960's at an antique store in Chadds Ford, PA. No cracks or chips, but do show age. One is natural wood with primitive hand painted tomato colored apples on top and around base, it measures 5 1/2" Long X 4 1/4' Wide X 2 1/4" high. One is completely painted depicting a church with steeple, a tree on one side, a red homestead and a blue homestead with picket fences on other side. The top is a cornflower blue, the base is a dark green. It measures 4 1/2" long X 3 3/4" wide X 2 1/4" highThe top is blue background with ivory puffy clouds.. The blue box has a few nicks on the top and shows age in what appears to be a milk paint. They were my mother in laws and sat on one of her cookbook shelves. See less
