A set of six Louis XVI style chic dining chairs comprised of two arm chairs and four sides, the frames … more A set of six Louis XVI style chic dining chairs comprised of two arm chairs and four sides, the frames probably dating from the 60’s or 70's, possibly older, just reupholstered in a cotton leopard print with black gimp trim. Frames have been repainted in an antique white ground with traces of distressed gold trim, oval backs and humped seats with rosette squares at the top of the tapering stop-fluted front legs. Frames are sturdy and seats have spring interiors which add to their comfort. The arm chairs are slightly larger than the side chairs, measuring 24”w x20”d x 37 1/2”h versus the side chairs which measure 19”w x 18”d x 37 1/2”h. After reupholstering was completed, it was discovered that the front and back of one of the armchairs has small black specks in the fabric--a minor flaw, barely noticeable--as pictured. Seat height on all is 19”. If you want to add a touch of class to your dining room, these chic Louis chairs are just the ticket.

**Just an added note: Please understand these chairs are at least fifty or sixty years old. That being the case, while they are sturdy and fully functional--there are no breaks or repairs-- those who want "factory fresh", pristine and uniform would be wise to purchase brand new. While these chairs have been repainted and reupholstered, they still have the wear and character that comes with age and use, each chair having subtle differences, such as the gold trim. less
