The rim flange is slightly concave and the neck has one small convex rib at the middle. Both the body and neck are covered with finely drawn, red and white glazed, frolicking plovers on a flowering pomegranate tree with butterflies on the neck flange and a scholar's rock at the bottom, all in a slight bas-relief. A six character blue Kangxi reign mark within double blue circles is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved traditional Chinese hongmu circular stand is included. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
