A fine 18th century French Louis XVI period commode de port handcrafted of Cuban mahogany by skilled artisans from the … more A fine 18th century French Louis XVI period commode de port handcrafted of Cuban mahogany by skilled artisans from the Bordeaux region of France, circa 1770s, having a moulded cookie cutter top of Saint Anne des Pyrenees gray marble above three drawers adorned with original brass trim and neoclassical drop bail brass handles and ribbon escutcheons. Supported on curved and fluted stiles raised on toupie feet ending in brass sabots.
