In amazing condition for their 200+ years of age, no damage to the silver blades whatsoever, and very mild signs of use and age. The mother of pearl is glossy and very well taken care of with small signs of use and age, but no cracks or damage. Each blade is marked with the makers name along with the French cockerel stamp indicating .800 silver content used during the years 1809 until 1819.
