Large Mid-century Modern abstract signed lithograph of New York City at night by Italian-American artist, Luciano Guarnieri, and dated 1965. With a personalized gift dedication in pencil by the artist to friend and notable news journalist, Oriana Fallaci, "a Oriana Fallaci con amicizia." Titled at lower left in Italian, illegible. Appears to be a view across the East River towards Brooklyn with a bridge in the distance. The blurred city lights are rendered in a fashion reminiscent of vintage time lapse photography.
Displayed in a simple dark wood frame under glass. New York City framer's label and an additional Fallaci notation on verso. Piece is from the estate of Oriana Fallaci. Minor wear noted at edges, as framed. less
