This pair of antique Chinese chairs is made in elegant Ming style furniture with simple and straight lines. Ornate relief carvings of traditional Chinese "Auspicious" patterns decorate the back splats of the chairs. The back of the chairs are crafted with deep curves. The front openings underneath the seats are uniquely carved. Made from Zelkova wood with beautiful wood grain, the chairs are very solid and have been kept in excellent condition. Original patina and wear. Circa early of 19th century.
