This Antique Chinese Wash Stand is circa early in the 19th century. The fine carvings on this Wash Stand exemplify the refined skills of the most talented craftsmen of the Ming-Qing dynasty. Traditional Chinese auspicious design decorates the center panels of the stand. The stand legs are crafted with "lotus" on tips of each leg. The washstand is handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and wear. Made from Elm wood with beautiful wood grain, the washstand is in excellent condition.
