Pencil on paper. At lower right, on both, the inscription 'Pietro Mulazzi disegnò' , with the date 1883.By an unknown artist but skilled in the use of pencils, are portraits of a bourgeois couple, whose faces in gray stand out well from the red paper background.They are presented in coeval gilt frames, with several missing (in need of restoration). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
