The Trippo round table was designed by Ulle Christiansson for the Swedish manufactory Karl Andersson & Söner at the end of the 20th century. It is finished with wood. It has slender solid steel legs with a matte finish. The Trippo table series is versatile and will be perfect for offices, conference rooms as well as a coffee table. The streamlined shape of the table top in combination with the steel legs reflects Karl Andersson's commitment to creating well-made, durable and sustainable furniture.
Ulla Christiansson, born in 1938 in Stockholm, studied furniture and interior design at the University College of Arts, Crafts & Design in Stockholm, and is a member of the SIR (Swedish Association of Interior Architects). Ulla's philosophy is to create furniture for people who like to live with things for a long time. She designed the Trio table series for Karl Andersson & Söner in 1998, the Trippo table in all its variations and the Trippo racks. The latest product is the Pastillo series of stools.
Karl Andersson & Söner's history dates back to 1898. Karl Andersson was known for his creativity, unlimited enthusiasm and dynamism. He earned the reputation of the best - albeit the most expensive - craftsman in the county. The company grew, and with it the ethos of traditional craftsmanship and the reputation of the highest quality translated into meeting the requirements of modern, high-volume industrial production. Today, the vision cherished by Karl Andersson and his sons remains as relevant as ever. High quality, good functionality and integrity of the form are still the hallmarks of the company's products. A lot of Karl Andersson & Söner furniture has become classics. Some are in the collection of the Nordiska Museet (Nordic Museum) in Stockholm. The company has received many awards and distinctions over the years. Today, Karl Andersson & Söner is managed by Karl Andersson's great-grandchildren. The company has retained an excellent reputation for providing classic, high-quality wooden furniture and sells worldwide. And the furniture factory in Huskvarna is powered exclusively by renewable energy from sun, wind and water supplied by Jönköping Energy.
