The molded porcelain figure has been painted with green, yellow and aubergine glazes. The face is well detailed with long beard and open mouth in a white glaze with grayish tint.

The base is flat and unglazed with a firing hole in the center. There are no marks or labels.

MEASUREMENTS

3 ½” (8.9 cm) wide x 2 ½” (6.4 cm) deep x 9 7/8” (25.1 cm) tall. Weighs 13.7 oz (390 g)

CONDITION

There is repair on the hat where a portion broke off. Otherwise there are no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs. The colors are bright. There are kiln flaws, such as bumps, black spots, and bleeding of the glazes. less
