Description: A pair of rare cast iron bookends with colorfully painted parrots on wood stumps. We've only ever seen one other … more A pair of rare cast iron bookends with colorfully painted parrots on wood stumps. We've only ever seen one other pair just like them.

The predominant color of the parrots is red, with yellow and blue. They have old green felts on the bases. They are similar in painting but still different.

They have the cast production mark of 78 on the back base of each bookend.

MEASUREMENTS

5 ¼” (13.3 cm) wide x 2 7/8” (7.3 cm) deep x 6” (15.2 cm) tall. Weighs 4 lbs 2.1 oz (1875 g)
